Umbrella Cockatoo cage.

Jessie is an Umbrella Cockatoo. She loves to entertain audiences with her feather displays and dance maneuvers.

Our African Grey Timneh is named Flint. He obliges us with a clicking sound, when his beak is pressed.

Bubette is a spirited Blue and Gold Macaw. She shares a cage with her partner, Billy.

Our Hybrid Macaw is named Dwight. He is one of our bigger parrots and enjoys saying "Goodbye" to us.

Mya, a Double Yellow-Headed Amazon, is bilingual. She speaks both English and French and can captivate an audience with her rendition of "Alouette".

Our Greenwing Macaws, Ron and Jenny, are a bonded pair.

Baby is a Moluccan Cockatoo. He is a reminder of the days when the aviary collection was still at Dundurn Castle. We had a pair of Moluccan Cockatoos and our precocious cockatoo is their offspring.

Sinbad and Mya are a bonded pair of Double Yellow-Headed Amazons.

The Hamilton Aviary purchased a pair of Galahs for their millennium project. Since then this pair has successfully reared several offspring.

The handheld parrots often come out of their cages in the the morning for socializing.

Our beautiful female Eclectus is called Millie.

Once the weather warms up, many of the birds retreat to their outdoor cages. These two screened extensions are used by the Macaws.

The Aviary also has several cages of Ground Fowl.
This cage is used by a pair of Silkie Chickens.

The Peacock enjoys parading his feathers around the Peahen.

Another free-standing outdoor pen temporarily encloses a pair of Call Ducks.
